Bio
Jesse is a 1.5-generation Mexican-American and first-generation college student, serving as an academic advisor at SDSU. With a background in substitute teaching, he earned his MAT from USC's Rossier School of Education in 2022. Jesse's academic and pedagogical focuses are on cultural relevance, anti-bias, and antiracist education, and his favorite part of the job is seeing students become lifelong learners.
