STEM Exploration Day
STEM Exploration Day 2020 took place virtually on the afternoons of November 5th and 6th, 2020. Each day, students logged on from home to participate in a workshop of their choice on Zoom, with PCI's STEM Exploration Day 2020 presenters. If you would like more information, have a media inquiry, or would like to host workshops, donate, sponsor or partner with us for future STEM Exploration events, please contact Nadia Rohlinger at [email protected].

STEM Exploration Day History
& Past Events
In November of 2019, the SDSU Pre-College Institute invited and welcomed over 500 local students and teachers to join us for our annual STEM Exploration Day, filled with labs and hands-on workshops focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. 2019's STEM Exploration Day was extra exciting, because it coincided with National STEM Day! This community event offered students the opportunity the learn more about potential careers in STEM and to experience a college campus and envision themselves there. Meanwhile, our SDSU community, including the workshop hosts, sponsors, faculty and staff, chaperones, and other supporters, had the chance to invest in the future success of these students, and the community at large.
Previously, in March of 2018, we welcomed about 300 high school students from 14 partner schools in San Diego to participate in the annual event.
Thank you to the workshop hosts, sponsors, staff, students, chaperones, and supporters who made these events a success for our students, and for your ongoing support!
