Overview
International schools worldwide are taking on the important initiative of inclusion. The International Inclusive Leadership Program is a 5-course program through San Diego State University that prepares leaders, general educators, learning support educators, counselors, and other school personnel to lead teams in the design and delivery of effective accommodations, modifications, and interventions within general education settings. Participants can choose to complete the courses for professional learning only or for university credit.
Cohorts & Coursework
The International Inclusive Leadership Program is delivered in a cohort model and is hosted by an international school. One course is offered each semester for a total of five semesters. Once each semester, all participants travel to the host school, usually over a weekend, for 15 hours of engaging, interactive on-site learning. The remaining 30 hours of instruction for each course is delivered online through video, readings, and online discussion.
