Guadalupe de Jesus Olguin Covarrubias
(she/her/ella)
Graduation Coordinator
Hello! I am Guadalupe. I graduated from SDSU in May 2018 with a B.A. in Liberal Arts And Sciences with Emphasis in Three Departments: Counseling and Social Change, Psychology, and Sociology.
I became a peer advisor and now a mentor of the CSC Program because I love the Counseling and Social Change vision to guide the students to not only improve and learn about themselves but also helps them implement that knowledge in their daily life activities and become an agent of change. My career goal is to be a community college counselor and help students to reach their own personal goals.
Fun Fact: I love Arts and Crafts 😊

Jamie Flor

Hi I’m Jaime Flor and I’m a sociology major minoring in counseling and social change at SDSU. I also sometimes work as TA for the sociology department. The CSC minor means a lot to me because I’ve always enjoyed helping people and I feel like I’m in my natural element as CSC student. In the future I plan to be a college level guidance counselor, or a therapist. As a person I highly value empathy and kindness. In my spare time outside of SDSU, I enjoy composing music.
